72 new cases of COVID-19 detected in Tamaulipas

CITY VICTORIA, Tamaulipas.- The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic added 72 new positive cases and 2 deaths this Wednesday, Health Secretary Gloria Molina Gamboa reported, noting that the risk of contagion continues to be high, so she asked to respect social confinement.

"If it is not urgent to leave home, do not expose yourself or put the health and life of others at risk," he stressed.

He explained that the new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the following municipalities:

The deaths correspond to a 35-year-old woman from Nuevo Laredo, who was morbidly obese and a 66-year-old man from Matamoros with a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure and chronic kidney failure.

With them, the statistics for this Wednesday are located at 2, 784 positives, 177 deaths and 1,040 recovered patients.

Finally, the head of the SST insisted on washing her hands frequently; apply the label sneeze (covering nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or forearm); do not greet with a kiss, a hand or a hug; wear face masks and keep all measures of healthy distance.
