To promote greater employment opportunities, in 1978 the Federal Government created the National Employment Service (SNE). Since then, he has been providing free and personalized services to millions of Mexicans throughout the country. With the participation of the Governments of the Federative Entities, the SNE has spread throughout the Mexican Republic having more than 160 offices distributed throughout the national territory.
Conforming today as the public institution at the national level that deals with free and personalized attention to the problems of job search in Mexico, the SNE provides the population with information services, links and occupational guidance; as well as economic support and training; as well as implementing internal and external labor mobility strategies.
In the same way, the SNE gives priority attention to groups of disadvantaged population such as young people, people with disabilities, elderly people, women, victims of crimes and pre-released persons.
