In the seat of the Legislative Power of the entity and accompanied by the Secretary of the Interior, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, as representative of the President of the Republic, Enrique Peña Nieto, García Cabeza de Vaca He made an account of the advances in security, social welfare, health, education, economic development, sports and administrative efficiency.

He said that the actions undertaken on the issue of Citizen Security, one of the 3 axes of the State Development Plan, have led to the advance of the state in the Mexico Peace Index, climbing 9 positions compared to last year.

"Before you, I reiterate the enormous commitment that I have as a ruler. There will be no truce against the violent, my government will act with firmness and determination. I am convinced that together we will win this fight, we will be able to pacify our state, "said García Cabeza de Vaca.

He stressed that thanks to actions such as strengthening the control rates of the State Police, their training, the creation of the Proximity and Highway Assistance Units and the strengthening of the institutions in charge of the Attorney General's Office, it has been possible to generate the trust that was lost with the lack of commitment of past administrations.

García Cabeza de Vaca He thanked the commitment of the Legislative and Judicial Powers, as well as the federal and municipal authorities and the Armed Forces, in the strategies implemented by his administration to return peace and development to the state.
