They spread Tamaulipas attractions in the National Convention of AMAV
• National and international travel agents know the strengths and beauties offered by the state to the tourism sector.
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.- Recognizing the work and importance of tourism specialists in the national industry, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, the LXIV National and International Convention of the Mexican Association of Travel Agencies AC (AMAV) was successfully held. .
During the opening ceremony were present the Secretary of Federal Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués; the holder of tourism of Tamaulipas, Fernando Olivera, Rocha; the Secretary of Tourism of Jalisco, Germán Ralis Cumplido; the national president who concludes his term in AMAV, Jorge Hernández Delgado, among other prominent guests of honor.
As part of the agenda of the National and International Convention of AMAV, Fernando Olivera Rocha presented the participating amavistas the strengths, beauties and different tourist segments with which the state has to enjoy, sharing the current indicators in tourism and security, inviting travel agents to promote Tamaulipas within their destination management.
In the initial part of the exhibition, the state undersecretary of Development and Tourism Promotion, Edgar E. Solís Islas, commented on some of the wealth that the state possesses and that can be known first of all in the two informative guides of "Mexico Unknown" and the "52 weekends in Tamaulipas".
Among the presentations that enriched the national assembly, Olivera Rocha gave the conference called "New technologies towards the 2030", where he addressed the progress in the tourism industry and the ways in which they have changed the way of doing business, considering the new models to adopt towards the new decade.
In this talk he detailed the tools that have been implemented in the tourism sector to achieve unite the industry with digital transformation, posing in turn the new features that future customers will present, which will have as a common denominator to be autonomous, to be hyper connected, being in turn more demanding, wishing new and memorable experiences.
Finalizing with an invitation to the travel agents to be part of the new changes that are already present in the industry, recognizing how digital advances and innovation will be their main allies in the connection with new markets, which will allow them to enhance their service through the use of friendly platforms.
