COVID-19 in Tamaulipas adds 43 new cases, urges OSH to extreme prevention
CITY VICTORIA, Tamaulipas.- In her COVID-19 report this Tuesday, the Secretary of Health of Tamaulipas, Gloria Molina Gamboa confirmed 43 new cases and 5 deaths associated with serious complications from the disease.
With them, the official figure is 53,661 positives, of which 47,898 have recovered and 5,001 have lost their lives.
The head of the SST stressed that the most effective way to stop the transmission of the virus is by attending to prevention measures such as the use of a face mask in all public spaces, frequent hand washing, healthy distance and staying home as long as possible. possible.
He explained that the new cases were presented in the following municipalities:
And that the deaths correspond to a 29-year-old man from Reynosa, a 53-year-old man from Miguel Alemán, a 60-year-old woman from Río Bravo, a 49-year-old man from Altamira and a 71-year-old woman from Matamoros.
Molina Gamboa asked to avoid unnecessary mobilizations, not to expose the most vulnerable to contagion or to attend crowded places and to reinforce the measures already known with the cleaning of objects and surfaces of common use, ventilate all areas of the house and avoid contact with sick people of the respiratory tract.
