Evaluate advances in health after contingency due to rainfall in Reynosa
REYNOSA, Tamaulipas .- The Secretary of Health, Gloria Molina Gamboa made a supervision tour today for the maintenance of the General Hospital of Reynosa, visited the affected colonies and noted the attention offered by the brigades "Tam te cuida" after the floods recorded the past 24 of June on this border.
As part of its agenda this Wednesday, the state official also presided over a working session with members of the State Health Safety Committee in which Civil Protection authorities participated, institutions such as IMSS, ISSSTE, Red Cross, among others.
They evaluated the progress of the preventive actions, the epidemiological panorama of diseases associated with the rains and aligned strategies aimed at decreeing the discharge of health for the month of August.
In the facilities of the General Hospital «Dr. José María Cantú Garza »de Reynosa, reviewed the repair and maintenance works of the affected areas, to guarantee timely, quality and quality attention to the population.
Later he went to the Independencia neighborhood where medical care modules were installed, fumigation measures were reinforced, abatement was applied, dengue mosquito breeding sites were eliminated, as well as basic sanitation.
In this regard, Molina Gamboa said that since the contingency, health brigades have visited 50 affected colonies, granted more than 13 thousand 600 consultations, applied a thousand 682 vaccines and fumigated 7 thousand 514 hectares to protect a population estimated at 647 thousand 080 inhabitants .
The colonies worked to date are: Pedro J. Méndez, Paseo de las Flores, Delicias, Ernesto Zedillo, Lucio Blanco, Esperanza, Villa Esmeralda, Bell Tower, Maquila Industry, Vamos Tamaulipas, Will and Work, Americo Villarreal, Villas de Imaq, Almaguer, Benito Juárez.
