Component of Extensionism, Capacity Development and Productive Associativity

Extensionism is the transfer of knowledge directed to the rural sector, diffusion of new technologies and training and training.

Being an extensionist is being a promoter, facilitator and manager of rural development. An agent that favors the realization of development processes.

Target population:

The support will be allocated to small producers, either individually, organized as a group or constituted as a moral person of the rural sector belonging to the E1, E2 and E3 strata.

Objective: Support to small producers is that the Rural Economic Units conformed by small (as) producers (as) to increase the availability of food.

Specific goal: Support small producers with extension services, innovation and training to increase food production and strengthen community development in rural areas.

Amounts and Support Concepts:

Extension services provided to groups of at least 30 producers (as). From $ 18,000.00 (eighteen thousand pesos 00 / 100 MN) to $ 20,000.00 (twenty thousand pesos 00 / 100 MN) monthly per group

Service duration:

Depending on the type of service and needs of the beneficiaries it can be 4 up to 8 months

Priority Productive Chains to be served through the Extension Services for the 2018 exercise: Ostión, Crab, Freshwater scale and Saltwater scale.

Types of services:

In the 2018 the Secretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture works with 4 lines of action, these being the following:

  • Processing of crab for obtaining soft crab and obtaining the 5 commercial presentations of crab.
  • Use of fishery products to obtain restructured products with high nutritional value.
  • Training for the launching of pilot plants for the aquaculture of Ostión
  • Training and Professionalization to Fishermen as Service Providers for Sport Fishing

2018 received 12 support requests, 2 for the productive chain crab, 5 for the productive chain oyster, 2 for sport fishing and 3 for the use of fishery products. With a budget of 1.440 million pesos.
