SECRETARIAT OF FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE CONTINUES WITH THE PROCESSES OF THE FISHING ORDER.
The Secretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture continues with the implementation of the Program for the Regulation of Riparian Fishing, through the labeling of smaller boats in the municipalities of Camargo, Matamoros and Soto la Marina, as well as the installation of microchips for boats.
These actions allow the agency to monitor the operation and improve the services provided by the Government of the State of Tamaulipas to the organizations registered in the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Registry. To date these processes register an advance of 70 percent.
Tamaulipas has an official record of 3 thousand 800 smaller vessels distributed mainly in coastal municipalities, among which boats predominate from 20 to 23 feet in length (length).
The signage and microchip allow the personnel of the Secretariat to verify the operation of the vessels during their capture tasks and to verify the legality of their performance in relation to the fisheries that they take advantage of in the different bodies of water of the entity.
