For a Tamaulipas without violence, towards women!


The General Director of ITABEC Lic. Enrique Jorge Nader Nemer, attended the 3 Ordinary Session of the State System to Prevent Attending, Punish and Eradicate Violence against Women.

In order for women to live a life free of violence, the 3ra Ordinary Session of the State System to Prevent Attending, Punish and Eradicate Violence against Women, where Lic. María Elena Figueroa Smith, Director of Institute of Mujer Tamaulipeca, made mention of the coordinated efforts that are made with the State Government to avoid duplication in prevention actions and thus be able to make resources more efficient.
He indicated that in Mexico, seven out of ten women have experienced different types of violence, however, in Tamaulipas, the type of violence with greater incidence is psychological, reiterating that this is the door to physical violence.
"We are currently presenting the Governor of the State, Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, the proposal to reform the Law of Access to Life Free of Violence, which in Tamaulipas is called Prevention, Attention, Punishment and Eradication of Violence against Women, law that regulates the entire Government of the State in this matter, also the Gender Equality Law of the State of Tamaulipas that is about to be presented to Congress; Once these two reforms have been approved, we will be pushing Tamaulipas to the forefront in these matters, "said the Director.
