Extra-curricular Education Centers
Extracurricular Education promotes basic education, training for work and the integral development of the community, affirms the permanent nature of education and recognizes the value of self-learning as a way of acquiring knowledge, habits, skills, and attitudes in a personal way; intended for people of 15 years or more.
Of the primary tasks of the Department of Extracurricular Education is to lower illiteracy rates and contribute to the completion of primary and secondary education in the most vulnerable areas.
The Department of Out-of-School Education currently has 49 work centers strategically located in the state, of which rural cultural missions change their location or municipality every two years according to a corresponding graphical study.
