ENGIE WILL INVEST 12 MDD IN 6 CITIES OF TAMAULIPAS

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- The French gas distribution company, Engie, confirmed that it will invest more than 12 million dollars, in a project that covers the cities of Tampico, Madero, Altamira, Reynosa, Matamoros and Bravo River.
Engie's operations in Tamaulipas will focus on the installation of a natural gas distribution network to serve more than 15 thousand domestic users and more than 40 companies in the industrial sector.
The president indicated that the company will generate 115 jobs, which translates as a positive result of the investment promotion strategy carried out by the State Government.
Additionally, Engie works in Tamaulipas in the development of the Tres Mesas III and Tres Mesas IV wind projects, located in the center of the state and has a cogeneration plant with an installed capacity of 52 MW and 120 tons of steam, located in Altamira. .
The company arrived in Mexico from the 1998 year and currently has presence in more than 70 countries around the world.
The State Government works to promote a strategy to attract greater regional, national and international investment, with the objective of generating more sources of employment.
