Realizes SEBIEN cycle of conferences with focus of Social Welfare
The Government of Tamaulipas, through the Secretariat of Social Welfare (SEBIEN), carried out the Cycle of Conferences with "Social Welfare Approach", on the occasion of the Evaluation Week in Latin America and the Caribbean 2019.
The event was held at the Institute of Sciences and Higher Studies of Tamaulipas (ICEST) of Ciudad Victoria, where there was the presence of speakers of international stature.
The conference cycle seeks to create a plural space in which academics, public policy makers and members of civil society organizations share and discuss approaches, strategies, methodologies, experiences and evaluation and monitoring results to improve public programs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The main objective of the 2019 Evaluation Week is to strengthen the capacities of public servants in terms of evaluation and monitoring of programs through the cycle of conferences "Public Policies with a Social Welfare Approach".
The event was chaired by Rómulo Garza Martínez, in charge of the SEBIEN office; Mario Gómez Monroy, in charge of the office of the Secretary of Education and Merilú Cerda González, director of the Institute of Sciences and Higher Studies of Tamaulipas (Icest) Campus Victoria; they were also present: Rosalinda Salinas Treviño, head of the Institute of Transparency and Access to Information of Tamaulipas (Itait); Rodrigo Vera Vázquez, rector of the Tamaulipas School; Juan Antonio Ramírez, director of Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Finance; Jorge Eleazar Galván García, Municipal President of the City of Burgos.
