Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. - Thanks to the support of the cattlemen of Tamaulipas, the DIF System has managed to raise more than 20 million pesos during the cattle auctions that have been carried out during the current administration for the benefit of the programs that this organization operates to support people and families in vulnerable conditions.
This Saturday, at the Ciudad Victoria fairgrounds, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca participated in the 9th. Livestock Auction for the benefit of the Tamaulipas DIF System, within the framework of the 39th National Beefmaster Cattle Exhibition, in which 3 million 041 thousand pesos were collected from the sale of stallions, heifers, semen, embryos, among other lots.
«I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you, especially to those who have chosen to donate different lots of cattle, heifers to be donated to the State DIF; the ranchers are good people, we are well-born people, we are hardworking people ", commented the president.
At the beginning of the administration, led by Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, the ranchers expressed their interest in joining the actions for the benefit of the various programs undertaken by the Tamaulipas DIF system, the first auction of this nature was in 2016.
In the present administration, 9 editions of livestock auctions have been carried out for the benefit of the Tamaulipas DIF system, which has achieved a collection of more than 20 million pesos, resources that are used to finance medical attention to vulnerable sectors such as health material for COVID-19 care, air transfers of children with burns, cancer treatments, medications, implants, laboratory studies, functional devices, surgical material, procedures with specialized doctors, among other benefits.
During his message, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca recognized Tamaulipas as the leading state in the northeast region in livestock production in breeds such as Beefmaster, Brangus red and black, Charolais, Brahman and also thanked the will, solidarity and empathy of livestock entrepreneurs to support vulnerable sectors of the entity by providing a better quality of life for Tamaulipeca families.

This event was complemented by the celebration of the gastronomic sample of the Grill Fest 2021 where the participation of barbecue teams from Reynosa, Aldama, Mante, Ocampo, Xicoténcatl, Padilla, Jiménez, Villa de Casas, Palmillas, San Carlos, San Nicolás, Tula, Miquihuana, Bustamante, Cruillas, Méndez, Güemez, Nuevo Morelos, Gómez Farias and San Fernando offering the public regional dishes such as kids, fine cuts, prawns, pigs, lamb, suckling pigs and chicken with various marinating and preparation techniques. .
