Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- In a meeting with cattle ranchers in the country, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca He highlighted the production and export levels of cattle from Tamaulipas and the northeast of the Mexican Republic, while committing to continue promoting public policies to boost this productive sector.
Accompanied by the National President of Beefmaster, José Luis Canales Bermea and within the framework of the XXXIX National Beefmaster Exhibition based in Ciudad Victoria, the president said that the State Government, through the Ministry of Rural Development, will give continuity to the programs genetic improvement, phytozoosanitary control, pest control, among others during 2022.
“Whenever I have the opportunity, I will continue to support one of the main vocations that my State has and that this country has, which is livestock, that is why I do it with so much passion, with so much affection, because I know what it is to be a farmer; Especially it should be noted that Tamaulipas, Nuevo León and Coahuila have the best Beefmaster cattle in the whole country: This is not the product of chance, it is the product of the work of many years, of each and every one of you ", said García Cabeza de Vaca.
The Governor acknowledged the dedication and commitment of regional producers and stressed that he will maintain approaches to listen to their requests or recommendations, as well as to continue creating the conditions for safety to prevail on rural roads and ranches.
"I want to thank each one of you for the excellent cattle that you brought to this exhibition, we have been talking with the Governor who is very committed to us farmers since he understands the matter," said the National President of Beefmaster, José Luis Canales Bermea.
As part of the award of champions of the XXXIX National Beefmaster Livestock Exhibition at the Ciudad Victoria Fairgrounds, the president awarded medals to Francisco Delgado Reyna, Calf Champion, Carlos Lozano de la Cruz, Young Champion, Gumaro Valdez Rodríguez, Torete Champion, Adult Champion and Breed Champion.
As well as the Agroindustria Los Enanos, Reserved Calf Champion, Héctor Guerra Paz, Reserved Young Champion, José Ángel Adame Moreno, Reserved Torete Champion and Reserved Breed Champion as well as Rancho Las 5 Becerras, who obtained the Reserved Adult Champion medal.
During the event, the President of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Council of the State Judiciary, Horacio Ortiz Renán, the Secretary General of the Government, Cesar Augusto Verastegui Ostos, the Secretary of Rural Development of the State, Ariel Longoria García, the Secretary of the National Confederation of Livestock Organizations, Homero García de la Llata, the President of the Tamaulipas Regional Livestock Union (UGRT), Julio César Gutiérrez Chapa, the Undersecretary of Livestock and Forestry Development of the Rural Development Secretariat, Romeo Flores Leal and the Secretary of the Mexican Association of Beefmaster Cattle Breeders, Luis Gerardo Marroquín Salazar.
