Governor inaugurates a new Safe Station in Reynosa.

The State Government adds actions in the reinforcement of the security and preservation of the highways in the entity.

Reynosa, Tamaulipas.- The Governor of the State, Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, inaugurated the Tam Reynosa - Poniente Station, a work that adds to the actions implemented by the Government of Tamaulipas through the Ministry of Public Security to reinforce the protection of travelers on state highways.

With this new station, the State Government adds 15 modules on public security that operate in Tamaulipas, which will contribute to guaranteeing a safe transfer of local and foreign tourists through the state.

By adding this new station, the gap is shortened to meet the goal of 26 projected throughout the state.

By instructions of the governor, each Tam Station must be installed every 50 kilometers away, in order to provide orientation, road assistance, safety to travelers and support with tourist information.

Station number 15 located on the Free Highway to Monterrey at kilometer 19.5 and is duly equipped with trained police personnel, patrols, waiting room, handrails for customer service, office, monitoring, work room, warehouse, armory, kitchenette, breakfast room, rest room, double garage, in addition to triple bedrooms, bathroom, hall, electrical room, armory, physical conditioning area, exterior lighting and voice and text telecommunication service.

The project proposed by the governor establishes that the 26 Tam Stations must have daily operations, which will generate confidence among the users of Tamaulipas highways, as well as facilitate the operations of the State Highway Aid Police, which is in charge of monitoring the communication routes, and provide support to motorists in the event of any mishap in the state.
