Appoints the State Executive to the new Head of the Governor's Office.

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- The Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca appointed René de Jesús Medellín Blanco as the new Head of the Governor's Office, replacing David Cerda Zúñiga.

Medellín Blanco had been serving since February 2020 as Undersecretary of Expenditures of the Ministry of Finance of the Government of the State of Tamaulipas and from this Thursday 25 he assumed his new responsibility.

He is a teacher in Administration and Public Policies, from the School of Public Policies; in Public Management from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey; in Economics, Law and Public Policies from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain; and in Finance and Business from the University of Essex, England.

Since February 2017, he has held various positions in the structure of the State Government and has held positions in the Secretaries of Administration and Finance.

Medellín Blanco has also served as Deputy General Director of Administration and Finance of AGROASEMEX SA (2013-2017) and as Head of Delegation Services of the Mexican Institute of Social Security Tamaulipas delegation (2008-2013)

He has also been a professor at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, teaching the Chair of Economics (2004-2008).
