Tamaulipas among the 5 states of the country with the highest export of livestock
In Tampico the XXIII National Exhibition of Brahman Cattle is inaugurated where cattle ranches from various states of the country participate.

Tampico, Tamaulipas.- With the participation of more than 40 cattle ranches from the states of Veracruz, San Luis Potosí, Yucatán, Nuevo León and Chiapas, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca inaugurated this Tuesday the XXIII National Brahman Cattle Exhibition in the municipality of Tampico, an event that consolidates Tamaulipas as one of the states with the best livestock vocation in the country.
"On the part of the Government of the State of Tamaulipas we are going to continue to do our bit, more than one million 100 thousand head of cattle endorse Tamaulipas as one of the states with the highest meat production in the country," commented Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca.
And he added: "On the part of the Governor of Tamaulipas, see me as your main ally, I will carry out all the actions that are necessary to continue supporting livestock not only in Tamaulipas, but in our country."
Tamaulipas is among the 5 states with the highest export of cattle in the entire country.
The main breeds of production in the entity are Brahman, Beefmaster, Charolais, Red Brangus, Black Brangus, Zebu and Simbrah; Although this activity is carried out in most of the territory, the municipalities with the largest herds are Soto la Marina, Aldama and González.
"You are the only Governor that I have seen who has supported the livestock sector with all our strength, which motivates us to continue working and continue facing adversities that arise, thank you very much, we thank you very much on behalf of all farmers" , acknowledged Ricardo Casanova Quintanilla, President of the Mexican Association of Cebu Breeders.
To which the President of the National Confederation of Livestock Organizations, Oswaldo Cházaro Montalvo added: «I reiterate my congratulations to the farmers, it is a pride to come to accompany them at times like this and also a commitment of the Confederation to continue collaborating, as it characterizes us to the cattle organizations, collaborating with the different institutions of the orders of government ».
This exhibition will be held from June 21 to 27 at the facilities of the Tampico Convention and Exhibition Center, and its main objective is to support and provide support to livestock producers from different municipalities in a joint strategy.
More than 40 herds with more than 450 specimens of the gray Brahman breed and red variety from the states of Veracruz, San Luis Potosí, Yucatán, Nuevo León, Chiapas and Tamaulipas participated.
During the inauguration, the President of the National Confederation of Livestock Organizations, Oswaldo Cházaro Montalvo, the President of the Mexican Association of Cebu Breeders, Ricardo Casanova Quintanilla, the Secretary of Rural Development of Yucatán, Jorge Díaz Loeza, the President of the Regional Livestock Union of Tamaulipas, Julio Gutiérrez Chapa, the Secretary of the National Confederation of Livestock Organizations, Homero García de la Llata, livestock producers, zootechnical veterinarians, among others.
