Francisco government Cabeza de Vaca will continue to support the productive sectors and the population in the face of the pandemic.

Reynosa, Tamaulipas.- In presenting the actions carried out by the State Government to contain Covid-19 in this border city, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca He said that thanks to the support of the productive sectors and the population, Tamaulipas is one of the country's entities that has done the best in economic and social matters in the face of the pandemic.


“I know that it has been a sacrifice on the part of all, this is not the work of a single man or a government, it is a joint work. On the one hand, taking care of people's lives is our main obligation but it is also saving companies. Of course we are going to continue supporting the productive sectors, we are not going to allow them to stop, but first comes the life of the Tamaulipas ”, he said.


Governor Garcia Cabeza de Vaca held this working meeting with representatives of the productive sectors of Reynosa such as the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (CANIRAC), Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX), Association of Customs Agents, Mexican Chamber of Industry of Construction (CMIC), among other chambers, civil and academic associations.


Before them, he stressed that thanks to the joint work between the population, productive sectors and the Government, Tamaulipas is a national example in various social and economic indicators, standing out for the number of actions carried out to address the pandemic, according to the National Council for the Evaluation of the Social Development Policy (CONEVAL).


In economic matters, he pointed out that the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO) and the international firm Deloitte, rank Tamaulipas as one of the 4 entities in the country with the best economic recovery during the pandemic and as the second state with the best environment for doing business , respectively. In addition to being the third Mexican entity with the highest capture of Foreign Direct Investment in 2020.


During the working meeting, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca was accompanied by the Senator of the Republic, Ismael García Cabeza de Vaca; the Secretary of Health, Gloria de Jesús Molina Gambia; the Secretary for Economic Development, Carlos García González, the Secretary for Urban Development and the Environment, Gilberto Estrella Hernández; the Coordinator of Attention to Emotional Well-being (CEABE), Patricia Saldívar Cano.


On a working tour of Reynosa, the Tamaulipas president also chaired the meeting of the Coordination Group for Peacebuilding at the 8 / a facilities. Military Zone, in which state and federal commanders participated, carrying out an analysis and evaluation of the public security strategy in the region.
