Government and DIF Tamaulipas continue to support the families who need it most.

Ocampo, Tamaulipas.- When presiding over a new service session "A Government Close to You" in the municipality of Ocampo, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca He said that thanks to these types of programs, the Tamaulipas DIF System ranks as the best-evaluated social assistance agency in the country.

«There are communities and municipalities in which we have to redouble our efforts, that is why I thank my wife Mariana and DIF Tamaulipas for supporting the people who need it most. For this reason, the National DIF placed the Tamaulipas DIF and its work team in the first place in programs for the benefit of the people. Tamaulipas pride in all these programs that are being implemented, ”the president acknowledged.

This model of social assistance is promoted by the head of the State DIF, Mariana Gómez de García Cabeza de Vaca, to bring education, health and administrative procedures totally free to the families that need it most, in order to improve the quality of life of Tamaulipas who live in areas with a high degree of marginalization.

In the current administration, the State Government and the State DIF have carried out more than 252 social services conferences, among which are assistance brigades, oral health weeks, service fair, medical brigades, Cinépolis route, brigades with the Secretariat of the National Defense (SEDENA) and COVID-19 brigades.

The Un Gobierno Cerca de Ti service days have been taken to 43 municipalities, with Tamaulipas families agreeing to educational scholarships, functional devices, equipment for school breakfast bars, productive support for self-employment, birth certificates, sports equipment, legal advice, assistance social and medical, among other services.

The program Un Gobierno Cerca de Ti of the Tamaulipas DIF, has been worthy of the recognition of the National DIF, work and vision of Mrs. Mariana Gómez de García Cabeza de Vaca for implementing a program where, through social assistance brigades, the most vulnerable are served.

Governor Garcia Cabeza de Vaca, accompanied by the Mayor of Ocampo José de Jesús Ávalos and Federal Deputy Vicente Verástegui Ostos, also supervised various works carried out in the municipality, among which the construction of a bridge over the Santa Bárbara River and a package of pavements to improve the urban image of the town.
