Governor Cabeza de Vaca continues to promote youth; gave credits to entrepreneurs.

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- The Governor, Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, provided microcredits for 66 young entrepreneurs from various regions of the state for an amount of $ 4.8 million pesos from the Young Investment program, whose objective is to generate social and economic value for new businesses developed by young people.

Since the beginning of the administration of Governor García Cabeza de Vaca It was proposed to develop financing schemes for MSMEs, particularly those in the entrepreneurial phase and led by young people, in order to increase their real chances of success.

In 2020 alone, the Government of Tamaulipas has allocated $ 618 million pesos for various financing schemes, among which is Inversión Joven, with the aim of strengthening MSMEs and keeping the jobs they generate in Tamaulipas, given the health crisis and economic derived from Covid-19.

The 66 entrepreneurship projects, whose financing resources were provided by the Governor, are distributed in 18 municipalities in the southern, central and northern regions of Tamaulipas.

Present at the virtual ceremony were the Secretary for Economic Development, Carlos García González; the Undersecretary for Small and Medium Enterprises, Jesús Villarreal Cantú; the General Director of Tamaulipas Investment, Aydeé González García; and the Director of Business Credits, Ángel Santiago.
