The Government of Tamaulipas receives 450 face masks.

The donated material will be distributed to institutions of the Tamaulipas State Health System.

Altamira, Tamaulipas.- This Friday morning, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca received from the Elite Company Mexico and Central America, a donation of 450 three-layer surgical masks (mouthguards), in support of the actions that the Government of Tamaulipas has implemented to combat COVID-19.

Additionally, 50 thousand face masks were awarded to the municipality of Altamira by the company, which were received symbolically by Mayor Ana Laura Amparan.

The president thanked the business group for being a company socially committed to the environment where it is established.

"This shows the human quality of the training that this company has," said the Governor.

The president confirmed his commitment to the productive sectors and companies that are installed in the state, to continue supporting all actions that are aimed at generating wealth, employment and development.

Francisco Bouyra, CEO of Elite México, highlighted that it is a company committed to Mexican society and will donate over the next three months around 3 million face masks that will help guarantee a local, timely, safe and quality supply.

"It is essential that private initiative moves, I acted in favor of the community," said the corporate executive.

The mouthguards made by this company will be donated to public health institutions in the country, as well as to non-governmental organizations.

Elite is part of the CMPC group, specialized in hygiene and personal care products such as toilet paper, napkins, kitchen towels and handkerchiefs.

It has 4 production plants: two in Nuevo León; one in the Valley of Mexico and one in Altamira, where more than 900 workers work, producing paper with advanced technology.
