Government of Tamaulipas delivers homes to a family of fishermen.

During a working tour, the Governor also supervised the construction work for the Port of Matamoros and inaugurated a new Tam Station.

Poblado Higuerillas, Matamoros, Tamaulipas.- This Tuesday morning, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, delivered 91 homes and 1 modern receive seafood, from a project of 5 in total, to families and partners of the "Los Pescadores" subdivision, located in this border city.

In total, the Tamaulipas Government invests more than $ 185 million pesos in this project.

This first stage of the housing complex and the fishing cooperatives are part of Governor García's commitment Cabeza de Vaca, to grant legal certainty and decent housing to workers who for decades lived in irregular settlements and without basic and elementary services such as drinking water and electricity.

The residential area has hydraulic pavement, fittings and sidewalks, signs, a potable water distribution network, a sanitary sewer system and an elevated tank.

The first receive already delivered they have a new dock, a warehouse with 2 cold rooms, an ice chamber, a process area for receiving and entering the product and ending in the production line in the freezers and loading and unloading area to send the product to the different states of the Republic.

Josimar Navarro Méndez, President of the Cooperativa Ribereña Pescadores de San Fernando, said that the new facilities give added value to the highest quality product.

Three of the receipts are currently under construction and one more will be built soon.

The president also supervised the dredging works of the main channel silts that include maritime signaling and the construction of the 453.45 linear meter dock, concrete piles, 2 ramps in the Port of Matamoros, a project of the State Government that to date has generated an economic spill superior to $ 87.7 million pesos.

As part of his working tour of this municipality, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca Tam Station was delivered, a project of 30 modules throughout the state, where care and highway assistance are provided.

The units are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and are operated by elements of the State Police of the Ministry of Public Security and are located every 50 kilometers.
