Governor of Tamaulipas and Health team, exchange experiences with Italian specialist, before COVID-19

The president thanked the specialist of the University Hospital of Verona for his support, which will allow him to make the best decisions and anticipate actions against the disease, he said.

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- In order to anticipate actions in the presence of COVID-19 in Tamaulipas, and to learn from the successes and the absence of timely decision-making from other countries when facing the pandemic, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, and the Secretary of Health, Gloria de Jesús Molina Gamboa, held a video conference with the director of the Department of Pathology and Diagnosis of the University Hospital of Verona, Stefania Montemezzi.

The specialist was responsible for preparing the Hospital Management Protocol that is followed when receiving patients with Coronavirus, in a serious or very serious condition, in the region of Verona, Italy, a country that after China has been one of those most affected by the disease.

Finally, he said that the closure of establishments that gather many people is an important action to curb contagions.

The Government of Tamaulipas has established in recent weeks various measures, many of them anticipated, to prevent, contain and deal with the contingency caused by COVID-19, such as the suspension of classes at all levels, closure of tourist centers, closure of establishments that Many people are concentrated, work licenses in the State Administration for population groups vulnerable to the disease, among others.
