Governor instructs that public servants work from home as prevention before COVID-19

As long as it is not essential to carry out your tasks from your workplace.

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca instructed the heads of the dependencies of the State Public Administration, so that the public servants in their charge, carry out their tasks entrusted from home, as long as, it is not essential to carry them out from their workplace, in order to prevent possible COVID-19 infections.

The measure was ordered through a Government Agreement that will be published this afternoon in the Official Newspaper of the State of Tamaulipas and will enter into force upon its publication.

The Agreement establishes that, to guarantee sufficiency, opportunity and continuity in the provision of services that are essential for the population, use will be made of digital platforms and information technologies.

"All the dependencies and entities of the State Public Administration will continue working to guarantee the sufficiency, opportunity and continuity of services that they are in charge of and that are essential for society, as well as essential goods for the population, in the terms of this agreement ”, verses the document.

It also calls on the Municipalities of the State of Tamaulipas to apply the measures contemplated in the Agreement, according to their powers and functions.

The document takes up the provisions recently issued by Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, in relation to issuing paid work licenses to public servants over 60 years of age, pregnant or nursing, mothers with children under 12 years of age, people with disabilities and diagnosed with some chronic non-communicable disease .
