Governor and President of the DIF inaugurate the collective exhibition: The Color of Tamaulipas

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- To promote the cultural identity of the various regions of the state through the plastic arts, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca and his wife Mariana Gómez de García Cabeza de Vaca, president of the State DIF System, inaugurated the Collective Exhibition: El Color de Tamaulipas.

Visual and plastic exhibition that Tamaulipas artists mounted in the building of the State Congress and that as of today is within reach of the Victorenses and their visitors, who will be amazed at the different expressions of representative artists from the north to the south of Tamaulipas.

«This exhibition aims to boost the talent of Tamaulipas, talented and eager plastic artists of more spaces to share their work. To all the plastic artists of Tamaulipas that make up this work: I appreciate the opportunity it offers us to appreciate the expressions of their feeling and take them to the general public, ”said the Governor.

Demonstrations that reflect the imagination and vision of the reality of the different regions that make up this border entity, along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, semi-arid regions and the Tamaulipas plateau.

In this way, the government chaired by President Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca It closes the activities of the "Month of Tamaulipas and its Roots", which the Legislative Power decreed to carry out to exalt the essence, origin, history, values ​​and, with it, the sense of Tamaulipas belonging.

The Tamaulipas plastic artists that make up the collective exhibition are Alejandro Rosales Lugo, Artemio Guerra, Carlos Sánchez Tirado, Gustavo Sánchez Tudón, Jessica Gadga, Joaquín García Quintana, Manuel Flores Kuri, Mario Jiménez, Miguel Ancona, Nefertiti Saucedo, Rogelio Meléndez, Rutilio Salinas and Silvestre Sánchez.
