Issues Civil Protection Declaratory Emergency for Reynosa.

Thanks to this measure, it will be possible to allocate FONDEN resources to affected families.

At the request of the Government of Tamaulipas, the National Coordination of Civil Protection on Thursday issued an Emergency Declaration for the municipality of Reynosa, which suffered flooding around 50 colonies after the storm recorded Monday night.

In a statement issued to the press, the agency, which reports to the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection, indicates that thanks to this declaration it will be possible to activate resources from the Emergency Response Fund (FONDEN).

The resources will be allocated to cover the food, shelter and health needs of the affected population.

The Government of Tamaulipas, through the Secretariats of Social Welfare, Urban Development and Environment, Health, Public Works, the State Coordination of Civil Protection and the State Water Commission, among other instances, maintain attention to the families affected by the flood .
